Tully Memorial Presbyterian Church is a multi-cultural congregation. We have Sunday services at 11:00 AM spoken primarily in English with portions, including the sermon, in English, French and Ewe (ay-way, or ef-way). Ewe is the home language of many in our congregation who have come from the West African countries of Togo, Benin and Ghana.
We are blessed with many folks with musical gifts who are more than happy to share. Currently we have three choirs; the traditional Tully Choir, the Ewe Choir and David's Praise. If you come early to worship (10:40am) you will be pleased to hear the joyful singing of the Ewe Choir setting the mood for the service. We also have a Young Adult Group who have named themselves The Guardians. They are very active during worship providing the Scripture Readings and may provide special music. We have well-attended children's Sunday School classes held at the same time as our Worship Service.
Generally, we celebrate the sacrament of the Lord's Supper on the first Sunday of each month.
As a Multicultural church, we continue to seek ways to worship together while still respecting our different traditions and expectations. It is a fun and interesting time as we learn each others cultures and seek to truly worship together as a family of God.
